Clever Booking is an appointment-opening notification project operated by Marc Smith. This policy explains the information handled through this website and the planned SMS pilot.
Our current pre-launch website
The SMS signup preview is a demonstration. Entries stay in your browser for the preview interaction and are cleared when you submit or reload it. The preview does not send your number to us, save an enrollment, or send a text. If you email us about the pilot, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include.
Information for the SMS pilot
When enrollment opens, the signup page will identify the participating business and the message program. The information needed will include your mobile number, the business you choose, and a record of your consent, including its time and the wording you accepted. We may also process replies, appointment interests, and opt-out requests to operate the service. We will update this policy before introducing new data uses.
How information is used
We use information to answer inquiries, operate requested appointment notifications, manage consent and opt-outs, and protect the service. Hosting and communications providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide these services. The planned SMS provider is Twilio. A participating business will receive information needed to manage its own client notifications and appointments.
No marketing data sales or sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to one business's notifications does not enroll you in another business's messages.
Message choices
For an active program, message frequency varies with appointment availability and your interactions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
Hosting and retention
Our hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. This site uses Google Fonts to display its typefaces; your browser makes requests to Google to load those font files. This site does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Inquiry information is kept as needed to respond and manage the pilot. Consent and suppression records may be retained as needed to honor your preferences and applicable requirements.

Email marc@cleverbooking.co to ask about your information, request correction or deletion, or get help. Some records may need to be retained for compliance or to ensure an opt-out remains in effect.
